South Montgomery County welcomes back Pierce Mfg, after 15 years, with the delivery of its new Enforcer Pumper. The new fire engine seats 4 firefighters, carries 1,000 gallons of water, can pump 2,000 gallons of water per minute, has 25 gallons of class A foam, and an Assortment of rescue tools. A team consisting of 6 department members from all ranks spent countless hours over the course of several months designing and building the spec of the new engine in order to meet the needs of the community it serves. On Friday May 7, 2021, SMCFD Engine 11-2 went in service.
