Welcome to the South Montgomery County Fire Department’s webpage. Our mission is to serve with excellence and integrity in safeguarding the community’s well-being through life safety, property protection, and comprehensive risk mitigation.

I am honored to serve the community and the South Montgomery County Fire Department staff as Fire Chief. The 150 men and women who work within the department's 7 Divisions are the key to our organization's success, and they serve with professional excellence on a daily basis. I am grateful to our ESD Board of Commissioners, who support me and the department's vision and mission.

I am excited to say that we recently completed the department's five-year strategic plan and published it on our webpage. The Plan will guide the Department in expanding its infrastructure, staffing, and processes over the next five years.
