A fire truck with flashing lights is parked in front of a strip mall at night. Signs for Ostioneria Michoacan and Cindies are visible. A person stands atop the truck’s ladder, which is extended toward the building.
At 8:09pm Friday South Montgomery County Fire Department was dispatched to a fire in commercial building. With the assistance of TWFD crews were dispatched to the Ostineria Michoacán Restaurant 25919 N IH 45 for a report of smoke in the building. Firefighters located and extinguished a fire in a wall adjacent to the kitchen. There were no reported injuries and Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating cause.
