The #SMCFD crew and Strike Team 145 is still assigned to the Campbell Fire outside Olney, Tx. They are now tasked with mopping up (ensuring all noted hotspots are checked on and/or extinguished) the over 8000 acre fire. Weather conditions over the last 2 days were favorable but decline tomorrow with more dry hot air settling back into the region. Ensuring all hotspots are out will prevent any reigniting over the next couple of days. The Texas A&M Forest service has the Campbell Fire at 85% containment.
