Just after 5pm, South Montgomery County Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire inside the garage of a residence. Units were on scene within 5 minutes of being dispatched and did a great job of getting the fire under control quickly and minimizing extension into the house. SMCFD was assisted by Spring Fire Department and Montgomery County Hospital District. Great job by all today!
