At 6:45 this evening multiple 911 calls began coming in reporting a house on fire in the Harmony Subdivision. E-11-6 arrived on scene within 3 minutes to find heavy smoke coming from a 3,000 sq ft residence. Within minutes station 4 arrived and was able to cut a hole in the roof to allow the smoke and heat to escape while Eng 11-6 entered the structure and was quickly able to locate the fire in the attic. The crews were also assisted by Stations 1 and 2 along with Spring Station 8 and Montgomery County Hospital District medic unit that provided EMS standby.
