Bobby Hunt


Lieutenant Bobby Hunt comes to us by way of South Texas.  He was born and raised in Port Lavaca Texas. He attended University of Mary Hardin Baylor, where he played baseball.  After college Lt. Hunt moved to Ft. Worth Texas where he attended the fire academy at Tarrant County College.  After the academy, Bobby started his career in the fire service in his home town of Port Lavaca, spending seven years there and rising to the rank of Lieutenant.  He then left and joined the ranks of the Victoria Fire department and spent the next nine years working his way up the ranks to achieve the position of Lieutenant there too. Bobby has also had stints in industry emergency response and doing emergency response for The State of Texas. Lieutenant Hunt came to South Montgomery County Fire Department in February of 2013 and spent his first 5 years as Station 11-2 A shift station officer.  His current role is Lieutenant of Training.
