South Montgomery County Fire Department departed this afternoon for California

At the request of the State of California, Governor Abbot has authorized state resources to deploy to assist with the wildfires currently active in the State. South Montgomery County Fire Department departed this afternoon for California under the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS) along with other Montgomery County and regional fire departments. We pray for safe travels and protection while they work to protect the citizens of California.
